Couples Therapy
Couples Therapy
It’s not surprising that bringing two individuals together in a partnership can come with its fair share of challenges. You may find yourselves stuck in difficult communication loops or feeling increasingly lonely, disconnected or betrayed. Perhaps you are trying to understand how neurodivergence impacts your relationship.
Couples can benefit from couples therapy at any stage of a relationship, whether you have reached crisis point or not. Goals for couples therapy may include rebuilding trust, developing tools for managing conflict, improving communication, and creating more connection and compassion for a better life together.
I can help with areas including:
Communication difficulties
Repeating patterns of conflict
Feeling lonely or disconnected within the relationship
Rebuilding trust following betrayal or infidelity
Neurodivergence within relationships
Differences in intimacy or sexual desire
Major life transitions including separation & divorce
Uncertainty or decisions about the future
Co-parenting and blended families
I am an affirming therapist and have extensive experience working with people who are gender, sexually and relationally diverse (GSRD). I draw on CBT, ACT, IBCT, EMDR and Schema Therapy in my work with couples.
